Finding and Contacting Pilots

Give a provider enough context to assess fit and propose the right work.

Start with the output you need and how you will review it. Equipment selection follows the brief and qualified provider review.

A brief a provider can respond to

State the purpose and requested coverage.

Name the site, access contact, timing and constraints.

Specify formats, review responsibility and acceptance criteria.

Ask for evidence of comparable work and current fit.

Prepare the brief, compare evidence, agree the engagement

  1. 1

Write the site, desired result, required views, capture date and delivery deadline. Example: repeat construction progress views with a dated PDF + JPG comparison pack.

  2. 2

Open the pilot directory through the existing app flow; sign in if prompted. Compare service area, relevant portfolio work and current professional evidence.

  3. 3

Ask how the provider handles readiness, missing views and revisions. Confirm current qualifications and availability directly.

  4. 4

Agree scope, exclusions, commercial terms and the person who can accept delivery. A completed upload and an accepted output are different milestones.
